Promoting your art on Deviant Art is easier than you can imagine and there exists a quite effective method for whichever artist that has at least an average level of quality in their works.
The key to this method is in the DA group system. It is the most effective way to promote your art since a lot of subscribed members in these groups will come to see your works. However, this system varies according to the qualty of your work and the number of followers in each group.
The first step is to choose which are the best groups for your works. Many of them have their own regulations regarding which material is accepted. For example, let's talk about nude drawings. These works are not accepted in many groups and they can only be shared in certain groups that accept or focus on this subject.
Putting that issue aside though, the most important task is to find only the largest groups. That is because the greater the number of subscribers in that group, the more people that will see your work. This will in turn dramatically increase the number of favorites you can get.
My advice is to just find the groups that have more than 1,000 members or even more than 10,000 members.
Make sure that the groups are also active. In some cases, there exists large groups that have been abandoned for quite some time and so there is no benefit to submitting to these groups.
Let me give an example for general art related to anime.
The first thing to do is look in the group section.
Then specify the type of group you are looking for.
In this case, the groups focused on anime have more than 1,000 watchers.
An excellent tactic to be able to choose which groups to publish your works to would be to submit your best work in the biggest possible groups with more than 1,000 members. Then use those as a reference to submit similar works in terms of theme and quality. For example, I would do this with one of my images like:

For example, this drawing altogher is submitted to 157 groups and nearly all of them have over 1,000 members and almost all of them are excellent options for these types of images.
If we want to sumbit a new work similar to this and we would like to promote it in the same way, what we would have to do is select the option "Show all":
Then we can see which groups this image is submitted to. Next is to directly copy the names of the groups:
Then paste the group name in the "Add to the group" option of the drawing that you are going to share.
Remember that each group has its own folders. We must previously investigate the rules for each group to ensure that we submit the work to the proper folders.
Another advice I can give is to not promote more than one drawing per day since many groups have sumbission limitations. There is a finite amount of work you can add in a day. So even if you are very active and have the time and permission of the groups to promote your works effectively, it's still best to only do so every 24 hours. In large groups, often they have a limitation of only one drawing per day. In other cases, it can be only one image a week or even a month.

En si la clave esta en el sistema de grupos de DA , pues esa es la forma más efectiva de poder promocionar tu arte ya que todos los miembros suscritos en estos grupos pueden llegar a ver tus obras , aunque esto varía según la calidad de tus trabajos y el número de seguidores de cada grupo.
El primer paso es saber escoger cuales son los mejores grupos para tus trabajos , Puesto a que muchos de ellos tienen sus propias normativas con respecto al material que aceptan , por ejemplo podemos hacer mención de los dibujos con desnudos , Pues estos no son aceptados en muchos grupos y solo pueden ser compartidos en ciertos grupos que aceptan o se enfoquen en obras con esta temática
Pero aparte de la temática es muy importante buscar solo los grupos más grandes pues mientras mayor sea su número, mas personas podrán ver tus obras y esto a su vez incrementa drásticamente el número de favoritos que puedas obtener
Mi consejo es solo buscar los grupos que sean mayores a 1000 miembros o inclusive mayores a 10,000
Y que este grupo sea activo puesto a que en algunos casos existen grupos enormes que están abandonados desde hace ya tiempo atrás y no se le puede sacar ningún provecho
Pondré un ejemplo para arte general relacionada al anime
Lo primero que hay que hacer es buscar en la sección de grupos
Y luego especificar la clase de grupo que buscas
En este caso grupos enfocados al anime mayores a 1000 watchers
Una excelente táctica para poder elegir los grupos en los que irán tus obras
Es subir tu mejor obra en la mayor cantidad posible de grupos superiores a 1000 miembros y usarlos como una referencia para subir obras similares en tematica y calidad por ejemplo are esto con una de mis imágenes
si has recibido mi nota con anterioridad
puedes usar la lista de grupos que mande
Este dibujo en colaboración por ejemplo esta subido a 157 grupos y casi todos son mayores a 1000 miembros por lo tanto casi todos son excelentes opciones para imágenes de ese tipo
Si subimos una nueva obra similar a esta y queremos promocionar de la misma forma , lo que tenemos que hacer es abrir la opción “Show all”
Y ver los grupos en los que esta compartida la imagen
Lo siguiente es copiar directamente el nombre de los grupos
Y después pegar el nombre del grupo en la opción “Add to the group” del dibujo al cual vayamos a compartirlo
Hay que recordar que cada grupo tiene sus propios folders por lo cual tenemos que investigar previamente las reglas de cada grupo y los folders en la que la podemos subir
otro consejo que puedo dar es no promocionar mas de un dibujo por dia
puesto a que muchos grupos tienen sus limitaciones en la cantidad de obras que puedes subir al dia
asi aunque seas muy activo tendras tiempo y permiso en la mayoría de los grupos para poder promocionar
tus obras de forma efectiva , por eso es mejor hacerlo solo una vez cada 24 horas
en los grupos mas grandes suele haber una limitante de solo un dibujo al dia, en otros casos solo una imagen a la semana o al mes
